now that is embarassing ! :-)
I never looked up the specs for this function myself, but
instead relied on a textbook, which seems to be in error
('The XSL Companion' by Neil Bradley, page 260, in case
anybody cares).
Jip, it's like me reading that non-prefixed attributes are in the
"empty-namespace" or "null-namespace" in XML 1.0 and then learning from
the specs that they are in no namespace at all.
