[xml] How to parse an Included File?

Hi,
I'm using libxml2 and want to allow the parser to
process included files, e.g:
<include filename="xyz.xml">
where the parser continues parsing the file xyz.

Before I start modifying the source code I would like
to know whether someone has done that already.
It would be also great if someone can advise me which
file I have to look at.
