[xml] Linefeed formats for DOS and Unix

Hi,

Does libxml2 support handling different end-of-line formats? if it does, 
since which version it provided the function? Some users have problems 
parsing files in DOS formats on Unix, but I don't have such a problem. 
Maybe only the new versions support it?
