[xml] UTF-16 byte order mark

Hi,

is it possible to use libxml2's UTF-16 conversion functions and 
serialization mechanism without a byte order mark? I.e. am I able to 
define somewhere if byte order marks should be expected and if byte 
order marks should be returned?
