While looking into the xmlTextReader interface, I noticed that several
functions still need to be implemented -- for example, ReadString.
As I've been out of the development loop of libxml for a while, and
thus do not really know who is working on what, I want to ask if anybody
is currently implementing those? If not, I am going to implement those
that I need.
Nobody has stepped up to do them, feel free to hack :-)
One of the points to keep in mind is that I may at some point want to
accelerate the whole reader by not building the nodes unless necessary,
but it's just future work if I ever get to do it. Adding tests in
python/tests/ helps me in the long term too :-)
thanks in advance,
Daniel
