Re: [xml] Question about xmlXPathCastStringToBoolean function

Thanks,
seems like I was a little too enthusiastic. I Already found the behaviour in the xpath spec, too.
In my eys a a strange behaviour, but good to know that it behaves that way.

Hi Matthias,

is the implementation of xmlXPathCastStringToBoolean really correct?
I at least would have expected this function to return '0' if the input is a string like 'false'.

Michael Kays XSLT reference says 'A zero-length string converts to false;
anything else converts to true.'
I didn't look that up in the spec itself but your expectation seems to be wrong.
