Many thanks for this information, although libxml didn't build with gcc it
built fine when disabling IPv6
I don't have much time to complete evaluation of libxml, but I will make an
effort to try and drop you a patch for this!

Seems you lack IPv6 support, try to find out why the configure
detection code failed, is sockaddr_storage defined in some header not
probed ?
Either you take a proactive approach and find out what's happening
leading to a patch or you can desactivate ipv6 support at the configure
time and move on.
