[xml] xmlNewProp

Hi,
  For adding a new property we use xmlNewProp() API.  Actually my
situation is, I have a tag (which is already existing), and Iam able to
add property (or value) in it though xmlNewProp () API.  But when i want
to modify the value of the property which is add, How can i do that??  
  Is there any API which is available for this requirement? 
  Kindly do the needful
