I'm using Windows NT 4.0, SP 6, Cygwin 1.1.8:
$ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-4.0 CRISM 1.1.8(0.34/3/2) 2001-01-30 16:44 i686 unknown
$ gcc --version
gcc-2.95.2-9
When I try to compile (using the default configure and then make), the
first set of .o files seem to build OK, but then when building xmllint, I
get this:
$ /bin/sh ./libtool --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -Wall -o
xmllint.exe xmllint.o ./libxml2.la -lz -lm
gcc -g -O2 -Wall -o xmllint.exe xmllint.o ./.libs/libxml2.a -lz
xmllint.o(.text+0xa0): undefined reference to `_imp__xmlGenericError'
xmllint.o(.text+0xab): undefined reference to `_imp__xmlGenericErrorContext'
xmllint.o(.text+0xb7): undefined reference to `_imp__xmlFree'
xmllint.o(.text+0xfc): undefined reference to `_imp__xmlGenericError'
[...]
I checked the archives and didn't see anything like this, but unfortunately
I am an XML nerd, not a compiler nerd. Does anyone have any suggestions on
what to change to make this go?
Thanks in advance,
Chris
