Strange, I checked. All error reporting from the catalog are
carried by xmlGenericError(xmlGenericErrorContext, ... calls.
And at the entity loader level in xmlIO.c it uses the parser
SAX callbacks ctxt->sax->error or ctxt->sax->warning .
