Re: [xml] libxml-2.0?

I doubt it needs the libxml-2.0 "file". Likely it means *package*. And
not even simply the Mandrake package, but the upstream libxml2 package,
which is under a different Mandrake package name. Yay Linux.

The files and whatnot needed should be in a libxml-devel or
libxml2-devel or something similar Mandrake package (not sure on the
exact name, being a Debian user).

Hi,
I am trying to install the gimp-print drivers package to my Mandrake
8.2 system, and the configure program says it needs the "libxml-2.0"
file. I have two libxml files on my system, the latest is one called
"libxml2.so.2" and another "libxml2.so.2.4.16". I have no files simply
called libxml-2.0.
Are the *.so.* versions the normal libxml file names?

Thanks
