[xml] docs

I posted a message to the list the other day but was from an address not
subscribed to the list so silly me, it never got here but anyway..

I've got a patch that I would like to create for the docs but am unsure
which file is used for generation (presuming there is only one).  I've got
the latest cvs pulled down and it appears that the sgml document is the
critter used.  Would it be safe to say that it is (if not, let me know..)
and if so, great, I'll submit the patch, if not, again, let me know if
there are any others. :)
