I've done enough work to be able to get libxml2 to behave well in terms

Daniel asked me to submit diffs to the list and also any new files which
are required, so here goes. Be warned, this code is rough and needs a
lot of polishing. There are some comments...

Okay I have started to integrate at least the parts of the patch
which are related to "warning avoidance", this is a first step toward
shrinking the patch size, I got xml_thread.diff down to "only" 775 lines.

For nanoftp, I have moved the hostname global var to the connection
context so at least it is not recomputed each time.

Next step seems to start integrating/refactoring a bit global_utils.c
