[xml] limxml2-2.3.9 make check false alarm

Hi,

I reported a libxml2-2.3.9 make check error with Red Hat Linux 7.0.  I
realized today that I have been using a GCC snapshot (gcc-20010514) for
the last couple of weeks.

When I switched back to gcc 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.0),
everything is OK.

Sorry for the false alarm.
