I build libxml1 out of HEAD, so it's new enough. The only pain is that I
build most everything from cvs using eazel-hacking, and I eazel-hacking
doesn't have a handy way to build both libxml1 and libxml2 from different
branches of the same cvs module, and I'd prefer not to spend time adding
that feature to eazel-hacking right now.

I think it would be easiest for me if there was some way to build intltool
without libxml2 for now (not the default, of course, and never package it
that way).
