Well, we can get it fixed, but it's not my top priority.
Maybe you can get Jacob to fix it -- he's the one who added GETTEXT_PACKAGE
support to the rest of intltool.

The .pot file is generated as a normal result of doing a "make" for
developers. I guess I didn't realize how much translators depend on doing
the same thing with intltool-update.
