Hi,

It feels a bit wrong to me to have the window manager involved in random
communication with other desktop components. I think we should keep the
EWMH focused on things that really need to involve the WM.

Desktops are much larger than the WM, including screensavers, and
perhaps that's where something like D-BUS comes in?
