[Vala] glib resource linked to executable file

Hi,

Are there any vala project (preferably
using automake) that links its data
(icon, picture, xml, etc) and accesses them
as GLib.Resource. I want to learn the proper
way to do this.

Reason: I want my app to run properly even
without "make install".
