I’ve been trying to update a program of me.. and noticed the threading api has changed but all the
examples in this page are deprecated:
https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Vala/ThreadingSamples <https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Vala/ThreadingSamples>
What should be the way to go in the deprecating process for documentation/examples?
imho , all those code snipets, as well as all the programs that was in valacode website (which is now dead
and lost)
shold be maintained in git repo, and a makefile should run all the tests and fill some forms in the html to
show if the test program passes or not. That will allow us to catch such problems in the future
