[Vala] image processing and analysis projects in vala

Hi All,

Are there any public image processing or analysis programs written in vala?

So that doesn't mean something like shotwell.  Shotwell certainly
has a little image processing in it (cropping, adjusting colors) but
it is mainly for dealing with groups of photos.

But it would include something like gimp, which surprisingly has
no vala sources i believe (even though in order to build it
from source you need valac installed).

Maybe i'm just not looking in the right places?  But, for example,
a search for image+processing+vala gave me no matches on github.

Thanks in advance for any pointers or faqs or references of any
sort, even to very well known projects that i should be aware
of but somehow am not.
