Yes, I've certainly been there. The code on that page does not include a
way to "sub class"* a Clutter.Actor

* Make a class from. Not sure if my wording is right.

Please let me know if this list is not the place for this kind of thing.
I'll probably try Stackoverflow today, just to get some more eyeballs.
