Hi David, 

I didn't try 0.17 as it's more bleeding-edge than I need ; I will try to 
take a look however. I just cannot guarantée my delays. 

OpenGL & SDL aren't bundled, they are available as separate packages ; they 
definitely work, I just compiled some examples minutes ago. 

As there's no repo available so early, if you wanna try immediately, you can 
grab them manually from another one :
http://www.tarnyko.net/repo/vala/vala0.12.0-glib2.32.3/ 

Get "opengl.zip" and "sdl.zip" and uncompress them into vala's directory. 
Dont forget to put the .vapi files in the right place.
