I installed libnotify 0.7.2 from here
http://ftp.acc.umu.se/pub/GNOME/sources/libnotify/0.7/ and now I get
this error message
"error while loading shared libraries: libnotify.so.4: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory". Something else is
needed.. Everything is very difficult :)

I'm newbie to Linux and working in Ubuntu 10.10. I have encountered in
the absence of 0.11.x widget GtkSwitch because I can not find gtk+-3.0
version > 3.0 (libgtk3.0-dev 2.91.3 only). Now, the failure to
libnotify ... Go back to version 0.10.x?
