[Vala] reading binary data with vala

hi every one,
I-m interested with writing a simple library for readin a binary file. given 
that binary file are stored as an array of structure, I can't figure out how to 
read from binary file data from struct type that i've defined. Can any one help 
me with some idea of how to do that.
