I'm also interested in this, but afaik there is no such thing.
(someone needs to learn elisp to write one).

Just in case you are interested, the latest Geany editor has support
for Genie (in svn, it wasn't yet released when I looked). There are
also NicoEdit and Medit that use Gtksourceview and hence support Genie
highlighting.
fwiw, an Emacs mode doesn't only mean syntax highliting (and generally
not support for compilation). I think, especially for genie, that
indentation is more important.
(and it isn't easy to switch editor)
