The delgates may have extra parameters though and not be glib based.

Particularly when you do async calls that take a delegate.
Delegates can already throw exceptions. However, I don't really see the
relation to async calls as it won't be necessary to manually pass
delegates to the async methods. I'll write some examples when it's
working.
