Thanks for your clarification.
I have made the sample able to compile, but I was wondering if there
were any plans on pre-catching wrong casts and so eliminating following
warnings at runtime:
(process:6903): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from `FalseFoo' to
`Foo'
(process:6903): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from `FooBar' to
`FalseFoo'
