I tried to declare Config (using Config) in first and last place. It doesn't change the C include order.

I tried to user "--pkg Config" in first and last valac parameter. Always the same problem.

The "--include=config.h " as gcc parameter work fine for me.

Applogies for the confusing wording.

At the beginning of most vala files you have

using glib;
using gtk;

perhaps the order matters? But it appears gege2061 has the proper answer.
