[Utopia] problem with kodak digital camera

Hello,

I recently upgraded to gnome 2.8 and came across an issue with my kodak
digital camera and the gnome-volume-manager/hal combo.  I have collected
some debug information from GVM to help debug the problem.  I can provide
more informatio if needed.

I do know GVM works to some extent because it does launch the cd player if
I put in an audio disc.  Also, the camera does appear in
hal-device-manager when I plug it in.

Versions/Info
Camera: Kodak CX6330
hal: 0.2.98
dbus: 0.22
gvm: 1.0.2

Gentoo compiles gvm with debug information turned on so I launced gvm from
the command line and saw the following information when I connectecd my
digital camera.

To me it looks like hal doesn't know its a digital camera or something. 
Just let me know if you need more information.
