It does, I was merely pointing out a problem. It has been somewhat
addressed in udev. However, the problem hasn't gone away yet. udev
still largely names by device type and does so dynamically, thus device
names for certain devices can change at runtime, which is a security
hole when it comes to pluggin in hotplugable hardware. We still need
fstab unique id referances
