For the record:
keyboard short cut (ctrl+Page[up/down]) does cycle but mouse-wheel does
not cycle. Epiphay, gnome-terminal, nautiulus and gedit do it this way.

As mousewheels not always are precise enough this might be good though
inconsistent.
