[Usability] 2 useful functions

hi all, i use gnome now for a year, its very cool, thx to all devs.
i have the idea of 2 new funktions, the first one is, that when i open 
the trash, that there should be an additional button in nautilus, "empty 
trash", in the main bar.
and the second, if i copy files, there should be a meter, which displays 
the speed.
furthermore i miss a gui to change the spash screen on login, so i have 
to use gtweakui.
