FWIW, Mozilla developers are fixing the same problem there at the 
moment:

    Note: the latest patch has #if defined check for Mac because
    25CF was HUGE. 2022 looks fine on Mac (and similar to Safari).
    25CF looks fine on Windows/Linux; 2022 was too small.
