Maybe this would be a neat addition to nautilus: One clickable eject
button on all removable media icons (even floppies and removable
HD's), big and distinctive enough, that unmounts the device and ejects
it when appropriate/possible. This way, noone would bother dragging
the icons to the trashcan. Simple and straightforward.
Of course, someone would need to figure out how to make such a button
work inside the "Places" menu.
Anyway, this would be a much needed improvement for users that cannot
grasp the mount concept, and a way to speed up things for those who
do.
