Please, _please_ file a bug report. As the Swedish translator
responsible for Gimp, I can tell you it is pretty difficult to find
these collisions (menu items are frequently not all found in the same
place when translating). And for Gimp in particular, there's so many
menus and other shortcut collections that I'm pretty much resigned to
collect and fix those I happen to come across as I use the application
myself.
If nobody tells us what needs to be fixed, it won't be. And filing bugs
on translations is every bit as welcome and useful as doing it on the
functionality.
Oh, and when you do file bugs on translations, please cut and paste (or
retype) the entire line, or at least enough that it is feasible to do a
grep for it. Getting a bug effectively saying that "brush" is spelled
wrong in this or that menu is not hugely helpful when there is no
straightforward way to find in the po files.
