I'd rather drag the files directly to the application (which mostly
works in GNOME context) than to an smaller target ;)

It actually works already, the bookmark-pane accepts folders (to be
added as bookmarks) and the file list accepts files and folders (to
change the current selection). I wish it would automatically accept
the dialog too if a file is dropped there, but not sure if it would
have bad side-effects...
