The description for the Close keyboard shortcut in the
HIG reads:
Close Ctrl-W Close the current document
I suggest it be changed to 'Close the current document
or window.'
Users don't perceive a difference between a document
window and a window that does something else.
This leads to inconsistencies with things such as
preference applets. See
http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311654 for
example.
