Does X violate Patent Y?
Only a patent lawyer can answer that question with any degree of
certainty. Chances are a lawyer would dodge the question tell you they
were not sure and recommend a good insurance policy.
It is a very big problem.
If you would like to read the patent you can see it here
http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PALL&p=1&u=/netahtml/srchnum.htm&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1=6061061.WKU.&OS=PN/6061061&RS=PN/6061061
Resisting the urge to say more...
Must go try and find a productive way to do something about this instead.
