Thanks for the pointers, Federico. This was not an attempt to change
the look of the File Chooser for GTK-2.4 at the last minute, it was just
an "out-there" suggestion for a radically different UI implementation of
the standard use-cases, as some possible future plug-in alternative to
the default. I probably should have waited for the GTK-2.4 / GNOME 2.6
dust to settle before bringing it up at all.
The work you're doing on the File Chooser for GTK-2.4 is awesome, thanks
for working on it -- I am an appreciative end user, sorry for not
sounding like one.
