I don't know the answer to that, but it's possibly because they're still interested in a subtle distinction between "Find" and "Search" that we've decided to overlook because it's often lost in translation. That is, Find traditionally finds things in-place, one at a time, in the window you have open, but Search comes back with a full list of results potentially gleaned from multiple locations.
