Hi all,
I recently found out that the 'Run Application' dialog
can be used with paths/files and web adresses by just
trying it.
But there's nothing indicating these possibilities,
and auto completion doesn't work (it should at least
work for local stuff, just like with the Ctrl-L stuff).
Since Gnome is already document/object centric, and I
guess will move further along this direction (it should),
I would like to suggest making running applications
appear to be secondary, with opening locations/adresses
primary to that dialog.
Maybe this and the 'Open Location' functionality should
be merged, by making Ctrl+L always work (is missing from
Desktop). Maybe add a hideable List with possible
completions to it.
