Any version of glade-2 should open them just fine; I just tried them
with a couple of different builds and they opened without any problem.  

Note that you can't just right-click on the links on that page and save
them to disk, though, which is what it kind of looks like you can do if
you haven't used lxr before-- you do still have to check them out from
cvs, which has annoyed me on numerous occasions too :)
