Gaim is weird, its more of a cmdi app. To be honest I wonder if it would
make sense to instead make the app just one window, with a tab per
discussion. Not sure. The question of MDI vs. SDI gets a little hazy when
you are not discussing documents. (are chats documents? Perhaps i guess it
depends on the source ui).
GnomeChat } arguable, but there's value in looking at them

Gnumeric (sheets are totally tabs, though it's really sub-doc MDI)
Tabs in the case of gnumeric do not count as MDI because they are part of a
single document (file, object choose your terminology).
