You had me worried for a minute there, I am relieved that the bug has been
VERIFIED WONTFIX.
After years of using Windows and a bit of Macs, I am very familiar with
most of what is set out in the current HIG and would be quite upset with
most of the changes suggested in these threads.
What happened to keybindings being configurable in GTK/Gnome apps (by
simply hovering over the menus and hitting the new key combination)? Is
it disabled in some cases to avoid users inadvertantly changing the
keybindings?
I hope that being easily able to configure keybindings would appease most
of the people in this thread.
