[Usability] Restoring search to Nautilus

I'm restoring the Nautilus integration with the Medusa content indexer
and search tool.  It's complex search tool bar is unworkable and I'd
like some input about what steps can be taken to make it usable.

I've created a page detailing my Medusa plans and there is a link from
it specifically about the usability of the complex search bar.
