I think it's a good idea. BTW, I submitted after you
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88681,
complaining about how the hours number in the clock is
always shown with two digits, i.e 03:33 instead of
3:33. A small issue, but about as annoying as the
showing of seconds.
