The serial way is useful for some things, but you're right, a 'show all
matches' feature would be nice too.
One simple way to do this would just be to show all matches using the
secondary highlight colour when you pressed the 'Find' button, whilst
highlighting the current match in the primary highlight colour. (IIRC
gvim works a bit like this.)
