This may be an advantage in English, but I'm not so sure about other
languages.

"To add a bookmark for this web site, click on the doofus button..." is
in my opinion a better wording, translation-wise. It is easier to
translate (verbs that are identical to nouns are usually problematic
whatever the circumstances, and I personally don't know any language
other than English where you can use "bookmark" as a verb).
I'm not against the use of the "bookmark" noun, I just think that using
"bookmark" as a verb is problematic and should be avoided.
