Actually I think there is a lot of good work in the KDE UI guidelines,
although of course if we copied those we could just use the Qt library
to help us stick to them, and in fact write code for KDE :-)

I *do* think everyone working on Gnome UI guidelines should have read the
coresponding KDE docs.
