Hey all--

Adam addressed some concerns in the IRC channel today briefly..but one
note he did make did strike a chord with me and I wanted to make a brief
comment on it.

I understand that my e-mail may have sounded to be a bit biased towards
a lot of things that Microsoft has done....I wanted to stress that it's
not really the fact that MS has done it.  What I was intending to cover
was to increase (somewhat) the level of uniformity in applications.
Just things that might help glue the system together a bit tighter.

I am, of course, open to all comments / rants / flames, etc....I just
wanted to address that my points were made on the basis of pulling the
desktop environment tighter together.

As always when entering a new forum....just trying to get my ideas onto
the table...looking forward to hearing all of yours.
